The Jacksonville Economic Development Corporation (JEDCO) is pleased to announce Blue Goose Customs and Fabrication, LLC has executed a 36-month lease for a 5,000 square-foot, JEDCO-owned, building in Norman Industrial Park. The company specializes in the manufacture of custom metal parts for the oil and automotive industries along with metal art and signs.
Owners Brady and Rayne Chapman launched their home-based business in 2017 and early success necessitated their move to a larger space. “The sacrifices our family has made to grow this business are paying-off, and we are excited to see what the next few years have in store,” said Brady. “We look forward to developing strong ties with local businesses and finding ways to give back to the community.”
The new location will afford Blue Goose space to expand their equipment lineup and increase production, which is expected to create jobs. “Finding users for vacant and underutilized buildings is critical to restoring vibrancy,” said JEDCO chairman of the board Darrell Dement. “Small businesses are the backbone of the economy and JEDCO is proud to be part of this story.”
